WHS Graduation 2000
[Please Read the CAVEAT]
These photos were taken with a Pentax Spotmatic SLR mounted on a Celestron FirstScope 80 EQ WA telescope, using Kodak Royal Gold Max 400 ASA film. This combination makes for one heck of a telephoto camera lens. Just for perspective, here's a straight shot with the pocket camera from the same place where the telescope was set up.......
I apologize if the selection of photos I choose to shoot doesn't meet your needs. I could not afford - nor was I fast enough - to snap shots of all 230 or so graduates. I listened for names I recognized, and snapped those. Why I recognized some names over others varies - some are friends of Audrey, some were friends of Audrey when she was little, some were neighbors, some were just because the name sounded familiar but I was mistaken. Only one photo were we not able to identify directly (04-0), but Damon Carlson helped us out with that one (thanks, Damon!).
These photos were reduced from their original scan size by 50%, plus they were further reduced in size by cropping them to feathered ovals. The original scanned images are 250+ kb each. For example, here is the complete image (278 kb) of Audrey receiving her diploma (04-04)......
If anyone would like a copy of the full-size scanned image emailed to them (electronic email attachment - not a paper copy), just click here and send me an email telling me which photo - by photo number - to send........
