- According to Mickey MCGRATH (#0133), in a story relayed 17Feb94 to Lynn & Gene VOGT, the reason Eugene got the family farm, instead of the elder John (and therefore the reason John emmigrated to the U.S.), was becasue John was stern to his younger sisters (Hanna-114, Sarah-117, Catherine-118, and Ellen-120), and the sisters liked Euge better, so they convinced their father to leave the farm ot Euge instead of John.
