28 Sept 94:
Thought you would like to know that Aunt Marjorie is in the hospital. Her neighbor noticed that her mail and paper had not been picked up for a few days, and went in to check on her. She found her in bed, having a hard time breathing, so called her Dr. They took her to Winchester Hospital, and then transferred her to Mass. Respiratory Hospital in Braintree. She has had Emphysema for a few years now, but wouldn't stop smoking. Howard said that she is halucinating, and talking about things way in the past.
Anyway, they don't hold much hope of her getting much better, so they will probably just try to stabilize her and she will have to go into a nursing home.
5 or 6 Oct 94:
Had a message from Howard that Marjorie passed away today. Thought you would like to know.
6 Oct 94:
Just got through talking to Howard. Aunt Marjorie's wake is today and her funeral is tomorrow. She will be waked from the Farmer Funeral Home where Gram Nelson was and Howard Sr. also.
