- From email from Joanne GONSALVES received 5Dec94:
I have another place for you to mail a letter to. ------ Church of the Madeline in Paris. Isabelle was christened there. Yup, I finally did it. Called Marie DeRubeis (correct spelling). She has really no knowledge of the family, and has not done any tracing. However, I did talk to her for an hour, and gleaned a few facts, one of which is above. The other is that Isabelle's family lived above a shoe store which they owned, on Rue de la Paix in Paris. Marie knew nothing about Julius or Eugenie, and had never heard their names before. Isabelle lived with them for a few years before she died, and she never said anything about them. She said Isabelle was a kind and loving person, and could not have asked for a more wonderful grandmother.
Ray Perry was best man at Marie and Victor's wedding.
