On a visit to the Massachusetts State Archives (State Archives, 220 Morrissey Boulevard, Boston, MA 02125, [617] 727-2816) on 8 August 1997, Eugene F. VOGT obtained a copy from the Marriage Register book for the city of Malden for the year 1894, listing the marriage of Albert H. MUNROE to Harriett G. TUFTS on 28 February 1894 in Malden MA. Albert is listed as a resident of Malden, age 22, occupation Watchmaker, born in Boston to William H. and Mary MUNROE. Harriett is listed as a resident of Malden, age 22, occupation Bookkeeper, born Malden to George A. and Fannie S (or G) TUFTS. It was the first marriage for both. Malden clergyman O. S. Potter officiated.
