- Mary A. (Carroll) Marron
77, most recently of 145 Milk Street, Westborough, MA. and Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Auburn, MA. died peacefully Sunday, July 9th in Broadview Retirement Home in Winchendon, MA. Born in Boston, MA. on July 3, l929 she was the daughter of John P. and Julia (O'Sullivan) Carroll of Ireland. She graduated from Saint Gregory's High School, Dorchester, MA. in 1946 and from the Boston Secretarial School in 1948. Mary was a member of numerous Catholic Parishes throughout Massachusetts and Port Charlotte, Florida. Mary lived a faith-filled life dedicated to her church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and also volunteered at Abby's House in Worcester, MA. Her husband of 52 years, Francis L. Marron died in 1993. She leaves a son, Leo Francis Marron and his wife Lisa of Worcester, 3 daughters Shelia Marron-Bonina and husband Jack of Worcester, Marianne Coswell and husband Stephen of Ashburnham and Cathleen Hellard and husband Thomas of Mansfield; one sister Ann Marie Carroll of Mashpee; six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother John P. Carroll of Easton and a sister Kay Coyle of Chamblee, GA. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 12 at 11:00 AM in Saint Mary's Church, Mansfield. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bourne, MA. Memoral contributions may be made to Abby's House, 52 High Street, Worcester, MA. 01609. Mary A. (Carroll) Marron, 77, of Westborough, Mass., and formerly of Port Charlotte, Fla., and of Auburn, Mass., died Sunday, July 9, 2006, at Broadview Retirement Home in Winchendon, Mass.
