- Malcolm and I have had a few setbacks this year, but we are coping. We are still living in Martinsville VA, but plan to move near our oldest daughter, Sue, up in the mountains of North Carolina near Asheville. Nothing definite yet, but we are strongly considering relocating. Our youngest daughter, Eleanor, lives in Charlotte North Carolina, works for the Bank of America with computers and lives only 2 hours away from Sue. Sue is a Home Health RN working with the Seventh Day Adventist Health System. Bob lives in Littleton Colorado with his wife of 23 years, Cathy, who is a real estate agent and Bob is a financial advisor. Cathy's daughter Vickie just had a baby girl named Bridget. I still enjoy Bridge Club and water aerobics and church work. My eyesight has not improved and the left eye has less vision than last year, but I can still cook with help and do most daily chores, except drive and read. Malcolm is very dedicated to being around to help when I need him. He has some memory loss but it is better when he is around people, especially his daughters. He enjoys a weekly visit with "the boys" for their Saturday afternoon gab and drink. He walks a lot, has lost at least 20 pounds (makes me sick) and goes on lots of errands for me. Hope you have a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year.
